Anticor™ & Ferrocor™

The Anticor™ and Ferrocor™ range are corrosion inhibitors developed to protect all kinds of metal surfaces from corrosion. The range includes anti-corrosive additives for aluminium, copper, magnesium, brass, and ferrous surfaces. The Anticor™ product range finds applications in water-based and solvent-based systems, depending on the Anticor™ grade.
Anticor™ & Ferrocor™ product overview

Anticor™ A5N is a water-free aluminium anti-corrosion additive. It is also suitable for multi-metal protection of copper/brass and ferrous substrates. Also provides good flash rust-inhibiting properties at low pH.

Proprietary blend of phosphonates and organic silicates.

Anticor™ A40 is a label-free and biodegradable corrosion inhibitor with outstanding rust prevention of ferrous substrates in both acidic- and alkaline water-based systems.

Proprietary blend of polyhydroxy amides.

Anticor™ A65N is an alkaline water-based ferrous anti-corrosion additive. It has high compatibility with direct-to-metal coating systems.

Proprietary blend of organic acid salts and silanes.

Anticor™ AMC 2330 is a biodegradable and emulsifiable anti-corrosion additive for aqueous systems. It protects copper, aluminium as well as magnesium and combinations thereof.

Proprietary blend of phosphonates and glycol ethers.

Anticor™ C6N is an excellent aluminium, copper and ferrous corrosion inhibitor. It can be used in acidic as well as alkaline media. It is soluble in mineral oils and esters and dispersible in water.

Proprietary mixture of mono- and di-phosphate esters and surface-active ingredients.

Anticor™ F1026 is a multifunctional corrosion inhibitor suitable for the protection of aluminium, copper but also iron substrates. It can also be used as an anti-corrosive emulsifier for lubricants.

Biodegradable blend of phosphonate- and glycol esters.

Anticor™ FA-N is a biodegradable multifunctional additive and effective aluminium corrosion inhibitor with good emulsifying properties.

Proprietary mixture of surface tension active- and phosphonate derivatives.

Anticor™ L4783 is a water-soluble multi-metal anti-corrosion additive with hydrophobic properties. Excellent for the protection of ferrous substrates under water-based alkaline conditions.

Anticor™ MPA is an aqueous high-alkaline copper and aluminium anti-corrosion additive.

Proprietary blend of coupling agents and organic amides.

  • Prevents aluminium corrosion in high alkaline cleaners
  • Very effective inhibitor in any water-based system that comes into contact with different grades of copper and aluminium
  • Controls “pitting” and inhibits other forms of oxidation of the metal surface
  • Excellent solubility with water

Anticor™ PQ is a water-free, multi-metal corrosion inhibitor. Suitable for the protection of aluminium, copper, and iron substrates in water-based and solvent-based systems. BTA/TTA-free.

Proprietary mixture of mono-and di-phosphate esters.

 

Benefits
  • Multi-metal corrosion protection/passivation of iron, copper, and aluminium.
  • Can be used in solvent-based systems and in water-based systems upon neutralisation.
  • It increases hydrophobicity and gloss in direct-to-metal coating systems.
  • It has surfactant properties with minimal foaming properties.
  • Anticor™ PQ is active in both acidic and alkaline media.

Ferrocor™ Flash TN is a water-soluble flash rust corrosion inhibitor for ferrous and zinc-rich substrates. Very suitable for preventing the formation of flash rust in water containing DTM coatings and cleaners.

Proprietary blend of phosphate esters and organic acid salts.

  • Effective flash rust inhibition and additional long-term corrosion protection

Anticor™ RCP is a ready-to-use water-based rust conversion primer with excellent metal adhesion and anti-corrosion properties designed for the protection of steel and other metals. Strong adhesion to rust and excellent recoatability.

Blend of an acrylic resin, an epoxy hybrid- and surface-active components.

Anticor™ L295 is a water-soluble multi-metal anti-corrosion additive. All constituents comply with the FDA regulation (incidental contact with foodstuff).

Anticor™ EDA 50 is a highly concentrated and active corrosion inhibitor designed for wire electrical discharge machines to eliminate rust build-up on parts subjected to the water in EDM machines.

Proprietary blend of surfactants, coupling agents and organic amides.

 

Benefits
  • Excellently suitable for wire EDM machines to eliminate rust build-up on parts subjected to de-ionised water
  • Will not be stripped out by the exchange resin
  • Will not affect the discharge process and will not affect the conductivity of the water
  • It does not dry or form any hard crust; it will not clog filters.
  • Stable at a pH of 4 to 12

Anticor™ CBA 63 is an anti-corrosion/metal passivating additive for metallic pigments. It protects (unstabilised) copper, bronze and aluminium pigments from oxidation and gas formation reactions.

Proprietary blend of phosphonates and glycol ethers.

 

Benefits
  • Greatly improves wetting and dispersing of metallic pigments
  • Inhibits gas hydrogen gas formation during storage
  • Prevents corrosion and skin formation during storage
  • Passivates un-passivated aluminium and zinc pigments
  • Protects metallic pigments from medium-high shear processing
  • Increases production time

Anticor™ AM 4501 is an anti-corrosion additive for aqueous systems. Very effective ferrous corrosion inhibitor, but also protects surfaces of aluminium as well as magnesium and/or combinations of these metals when exposed to aqueous media. This additive is specially developed for the electronic- and related industries.

Proprietary blend of organic acids and silanes.
